  • Patent number: 11933254
Abstract: A system for cleaning air flowing into an engine provided with a plurality of sub-blocks. A plurality of air separators arranged in the plurality of sub-blocks, wherein each sub-block includes air separators having a predetermined optimal air flow velocity. At least one rotary louver/shatter is associated with at least one sub-block. A controller is provided to control transitioning of at least one rotary louver/shatter based on a sensed air flow velocity into the engine or on a velocity of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11298972
Abstract: A device for preventing paint from drying in a cylindrical paint can, wherein the paint can has a wall with an internal diameter DI and an upper portal into the paint can, the upper portal having a diameter smaller than DI. The device consists of a circular planar base disc; and a slanted lip wall extending upwardly from said planar base disc. The lip wall forms a frustum of a cone having a central angle ?. The slanted lip wall has a first, upper diameter DB at an upper lip edge of the lip wall, a second, lower diameter DC at a connection of the slanted lip wall to the planar base disc, and a third diameter DM disposed between the upper diameter and the lower diameter, wherein DM is substantially equal to DI, and wherein DB>DM>DC and DB>DI>DC. When the device is installed over the paint residue in the paint can, the upper lip edge of the lip wall is deformed so that DB is substantially equal to DI.

  • Patent number: 9221527
Abstract: An aquatic hammock supporting a user and adapted to be placed on a surface of water includes a floating open-end body formed by a convex exterior wall and a concaved inner wall. First and second inflatable chambers are provided. The first inflatable chamber configured as a convex-concave shell extending between the convex exterior wall and the concaved inner wall. The second inflatable chamber is a tubular-shaped inflatable rim extending along an outer periphery of the floating body. A resting platform accommodating a user is supported by a top portion of the floating body and includes an ellipse-shaped frame with a fabric segment extending between sides of the frame. The hammock may be used not only on any open water surface, but also on any hard surface supporting a pool.

  • Patent number: 8449340
Abstract: A personal propulsion apparatus for controllable gliding a rider over a water surface includes a buoyant body unit, a power unit and a thrust assembly with at least two independently pivotable thrust nozzles. An intake unit having receiving and directing portions. A height adjusting arrangement is formed with the directing portion. During motion over the surface of water, the intake unit with the height adjusting arrangement, remains submerged. Upon excessive lifting force being generated the height adjusting arrangement is elevated above the water surface, causing entry of air into the power unit, resulted in decreasing the thrust and lowering the height adjusting arrangement below the water surface into the submerged position, so that the rider assumes the longitudinal motion over the water surface.

  • Patent number: 8051918
Abstract: A method and apparatus for weed removal, wherein using a depilatory method (new use) with an extension spring having an arcuate axis and being driven in a rotational sliding motion relative to the soil-bearing weed to be removed. For this purpose the apparatus is equipped with a spring (10), having an arcuate axis that is bent at 180 degrees and the spring is made in the shape of a spring of variable rate, so that the spring has a large diameter in its middle zone and conically reduced cylindrical ends of smaller diameter.

  • Patent number: 7927163
Abstract: A flotation recreational device consists of a buoyant vessel having a semispherical exterior surface and a sufficient internal area adapted to accommodate an operator. The vessel is configured to have a geometrical center which is a metacenter of a spherical buoyant body serving as a base of the partially-spherical exterior surface. The center of sphere is spaced from and located above the center of gravity of the operator, so the radius of sphere is greater than the height of said center of gravity. The stability of a vessel-operator system is determined by a stability of a distance between the metacenter and the center of gravity of the operator. The vessel can be in the form of a circular shell, an elliptical shell, or a barrel.

  • Patent number: 7614355
Abstract: A personal flying water jet apparatus consisting of two towing connected units: one is a floating platform, mainly an inflatable Ski Tube (12A) (and so on), equipped with water jet nozzles (18) directed downward and mounted on both sides by means of brackets (20); the other is an inlet port (24) fixed on a tow line (16) and connected with nozzles (18) by mean of a hose (22). While the tube is being towed, the kinetic head appears and pressurized water is discharged at the nozzles (18) producing a thrust, so the rider (10) will fly. An additional version of the apparatus is: the nozzle (18) can be fixed on the rider's (10) back, so this lifting assembly performs like a Backpack, but the floating platform can be made in the shape of a life jacket (12B).

  • Publication number: 20080026656
Abstract: One is a floating platform made in the shape of a segment of a sphere (so in the shape of spherical dish,—previously in the text: “Dish”). The radius of the sphere is longer than the height of the center of gravity of the child (22). The Dish (10) is equipped with a round rim (12) and a flexible bellow (14) located on the edge of the Dish (10). The other is a round pool (20), mainly inflatable, for placing the Dish (10), so the pool (10) diameter is about that of the submerged Dish diameter, corresponding to the sum of the Dish's weight and the child's weight. The floating platform can be made also in the shape of a zone of a sphere (so in the shape spherical barrel,—previously in the text: “Barrel”). The Barrel's (16) radius is equal to the Dish's (10) sphere radius and the Barrel's (16) width is equal to the Dish's (10) diameter. For either the Dish (10) or the Barrel (16) the round pool (20) can be formed by placing a circular float (26) on the surface of the water, for example a swimming pool (24).
