In some embodiments, the methods includes administering a cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2) antagonist to the subject, whereby the radiosensitivity of the target tissue is increased. Also disclosed are methods for suppressing tumor growth in a subject and methods for inhibiting tumor blood vessel growth.
