Patents by Inventor Eugeniy A. Belyaev

Eugeniy A. Belyaev has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20120293731
Abstract: A macroblock-scanned picture may be shown directly on a thin film transistor liquid crystal display in macroblock scan order. This enables eliminating conversion operation from macroblock raster scan to line scan order that requires expensive and power-hungry memory for a frame buffer, in some embodiments, which results in a cost savings.

    Publication date: November 22, 2012
Inventors: Mikhail S. Tsvetkov, Andrey Efimov, Eugeniy A. Belyaev
  • Patent number: 8279935
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a method for controlling video image quality may include receiving digital video data into a buffer that is coupled to a video data encoder. The video data includes multiple tiles. One of the tiles is compressed at a first compression bit size and another tile is compressed at a second compression bit size. The tiles are transmitted to a video data decoder. The first compression bit size is unequal to the second compression bit size.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 2007
Date of Patent: October 2, 2012
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
    Inventors: Eugeniy Belyaev, Andrey Turlikov
  • Patent number: 8126047
Abstract: A video compression and transmission system that uses a novel rate-distortion algorithm is disclosed. The video compression and transmission scheme is a modification of the JPEG 2000-based video transmission systems for constant bit-rate channels.
