  • Publication number: 20070125768
Abstract: A heater unit is provided, the heater unit equipped with an induction heating coil and an electric heater selectively operated based on kind and state of a load of a cooking vessel placed on the heater unit. The kind is determined by an input current inputted when a load-type determination unit causes the induction heating coil to be operated and a resonance current flowing into the induction heating coil. The state is determined by a temperature change of the heater unit when a load-state determination unit allows the electric heater to generate heat, and the induction heating coil and the electric heater are selectively operated based on the determined kind and state of the load. Accordingly, a user needs not to scrupulously determine the kind of the cooking vessel and the electric cooker is not operated under a no-load state to prevent occurrence of safety accidents.

  • Publication number: 20060098241
Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for decoding a mixed code that is a combination of first and second code images. In the method, a mixed code image is obtained by receiving the original image having the mixed code image and removing noise from the original image. Next, the colors, shades, and brightnesses of pixels of the mixed code image are categorized into groups based on a predetermined threshold, the mixed code image is divided into first and second code images, and first and second information are extracted by decoding the first and second code images, respectively. The first and second code images can be effectively decoded by decoding interpretation information, construction information, error control information, and code direction information stored in the first and/or second code images.

  • Publication number: 20060086728
Abstract: An induction-heating cooking apparatus and a method for operating the same are disclosed. Upon receiving a low-voltage signal in a high-output level state, the apparatus controls an output signal to allow an inverter to be operated only in a ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) area. If an input voltage applied to a circuit is a low voltage, the apparatus compensates for the input voltage using a smaller one between a blocking voltage and an output control signal generated from the microprocessor, thereby limiting a compensation component. Therefore, the apparatus prevents the occurrence of a power loss caused by an excessive switching operation, and also prevents a switch from receiving a high instantaneous current, resulting in increased endurance of cooking appliances.

  • Publication number: 20060054617
Abstract: An induction-heating cooking apparatus, operation of which is interrupted by container eccentricity is disclosed. Upon receiving an input signal varying with the degree of eccentricity of a container, the apparatus changes a reference signal for determining the presence or absence of a small load in proportion to a pulse-width control signal controlling the width of an inverter driving pulse. Although the eccentricity of the container occurs in a normal heating operation and completely escapes from a cook zone, the apparatus determines the occurrence of a no-load state, and interrupts an operation of an inverter circuit, resulting in increased stability of a circuit and a product.

  • Publication number: 20050254301
Abstract: Disclosed are a method of controlling a page buffer having a dual register and a control circuit thereof. In the present invention, during a normal program operation, a normal program operation is performed through the same transmission path as a data transmission path along which data is outputted from bit lines of a memory cell array to a YA pad according to a signal PBDO used in a read operation. A program operating time can be reduced and the whole program operation of a chip can be thus reduced. It is also possible to reduce current consumption by shortening a data path during the normal program operation.

  • Publication number: 20050139068
Abstract: Two types of activated charcoals having different adsorption and desorption functions are appropriately disposed in a canister. Gas movement is evenly dispersed via an air space and diffuser equipped between the two activated charcoals. Thereby, leakage of fuel vapor from the canister to the atmosphere is minimized without implementing a supplementary component (e.g., a subsidiary canister), and reduction of the consumption amount of the activated charcoal by eliminating a dead volume.

  • Publication number: 20050078520
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and device for preserving a word line pass bias using a ROM block in a NAND-type flash memory. The method for preserving the word line pass bias includes a step for closing a precharge transistor of a precharge circuit before the operation of a pass transistor for precharging a selected word line, by separately outputting from the ROM block a program precharge control signal transmitted to a group access signal generation circuit for outputting a group access signal and a program precharge control signal transmitted to a block word line, and synchronizing the signals in a synchronization circuit. Accordingly, time mismatching in the program and read operations of the NAND-type flash memory is prevented, and a predetermined voltage precharged to the selected block word line is precisely inputted to a specific cell and preserved.
