Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for security in a cloud computing service. A service integration unit provides various cloud services to a terminal over a personal virtual network. An authentication unit performs authentication on a user of the terminal through redirection in the service integration unit. The service integration unit generates a virtual machine for providing a cloud service requested by the terminal on a service providing unit. The service providing unit provides the cloud service to the terminal authenticated by the user.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for detecting an intrusion in a cloud computing service. An elementary detector may monitor a virtual machine provided by a cloud computing service, and may generate a raw alert based on a result of the monitoring. An intrusion detection system (IDS) dispatcher may determine occurrence of an intrusion into the cloud computing service by comparing the raw alert and a local database. The IDS dispatcher may generate a hyper alert when it is determined that the intrusion has occurred. An intrusion detection system (IDS) manager may determine the occurrence of the intrusion by comparing the hyper alert and a global database.

Abstract: An apparatus for distributing mobile resources in a cloud computing environment includes: a resource register configured to analyze, when a request for mobile resource registration is inputted by a user, the requested resource and confirm if the resource is registerable; a provisioning manager configured to create a MVO, when the mobile resource is a registerable resource, and register the mobile resource; a metadata repository configured to store metadata information regarding the registered mobile resource; and a resource manager configured to control the provisioning manager, when the resource register receives a request for the resource registration, so as to create a MVO, register the resource, and store metadata regarding the registered mobile resource information.

Abstract: Provided are a virtual aggregation gateway and a method of providing an N-screen service using the virtual aggregation gateway. The virtual aggregation gateway may register, to a first terminal, a cloud server that provides a cloud service. The virtual aggregation gateway may access content of the cloud server using registration information provided from the first terminal. When a request for content is received from the second terminal, the virtual aggregation gateway may verify whether the content is shared by the second terminal, and may transform the content to be suitable for the second terminal The virtual aggregation gateway may provide the transformed content to the second terminal.

Abstract: Service providers capable of dynamic resource collaboration and corresponding dynamic resource collaboration techniques are provided. In one embodiment, a network service provider includes a service server that processes service requests, a resource monitoring unit that monitors available computing resources of the service server and generates a resource request for supplementary computing resources from one or more collaborating network service providers based on the result of the monitoring, and a resource collaboration unit acquires supplementary computing resources from at least one of the collaborating network service providers.

Abstract: A virtual network constructing apparatus and a virtual network constructing method are provided. The virtual network constructing method includes constructing a virtual network on the basis of a Multi-Depot Ring-Star with 2-Depots per Ring (MDRS-2DR) topology, applying the virtual network to an actual network environment, and reflecting a result of the application to reconstruct the virtual network.

In one embodiment, a media data customization system includes a resource allocator that receives media data and a media data customization request and that allocates customization resources for a service of the media data customization request, a pipe repository that stores pipe filter modules, and a pipe manager that retrieves pipe filter modules stored in the pipe repository based on the media data customization request, that integrates the retrieved pipe filter modules to form a pipe group, and that applies the pipe group to the media data using the customization resources to generate customized media data.
