Abstract: An apparatus and method for synchronizing the display of content in a real-time collaboration system are provided. The method includes transmitting, from a master device to each of a plurality of other devices, a list of thumbnails and content corresponding to each thumbnail, for each of the plurality of other devices, displaying the list of thumbnails in a format appropriate for that device, without taking into account a display format of other devices in the plurality of other devices, transmitting, from the master device to each of the plurality of other devices, a content ID corresponding to content having a current focus, and for each of the plurality of devices, scrolling through the list of thumbnails to display the thumbnail corresponding to the received content ID.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for communicating with a wearable wireless device are provided. The system includes at least one data source, an aggregator configured to receive data from the at least one data source, and to communicate with an access point, the access point configured to communicate with the aggregator and to communicate with a wearable wireless device, and the wearable wireless device configured to communicate with the access point so as to receive information from the aggregator through the access point.

The touch screen includes a graphical user interface that is configured to display content on the touch screen such that similar content items are in a content group. Additionally, the graphical user interface is configured to receive, through the touch screen, a first input to access different content groups and a second input to access content within the same group. The first input includes a touch input in a first direction and the second input includes a touch input in a second direction.

Abstract: An extensible method and system for dynamically transforming and routing the WWW content is provided that can enable efficient delivery and presentation of the content for a variety of end-user devices. Processing of HTTP request and response messages is combined with event-driven machinery that can perform transformations and routing of data or content. The machinery can include a logic-based inference engine adapted to determine which transformations are applicable in any given context. A knowledge base for the content adaptation and routing may also be provided. The knowledge base is segmented so that search space for the inference engine can be significantly reduced in any given context. Since the search space is much narrower, searching can be performed much more efficiently, which can result in improved performance.

Abstract: An object oriented system platform for a telecommunication system that provides subscriber services includes an upper layer containing applications in the form of base and supplementary functions providing base and supplementary services. This layer is implemented with base objects and extension objects. The base objects are object types implementing functions which may need extension in the future, each object type being designed for a particular task which can be performed with a minimum of coordination with other base objects. The extension objects are object types implementing extension functions which form extensions to the base functions and make it possible to add new services and modify and extend existing services without changing the software of a system that has already been implemented and supplied.
