  • Publication number: 20240141061
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an antibody binding specifically to CD55 or an antigen-binding fragment thereof; and a composition for preventing, treating and/or diagnosing cancer containing the same. The antibody of the present disclosure may be used as an effective therapeutic composition for various CD55-mediated diseases since it shows high binding ability and inhibitory effect for the CD55 protein which promotes tumor growth by inhibiting the complement immune mechanism. In addition, the antibody of the present disclosure may be usefully used as an effective therapeutic adjuvant that fundamentally removes drug resistance and remarkably improves therapeutic responsiveness in various diseases in which resistance to therapeutic agents with CDC (complement-dependent cytotoxicity) as a mechanism of action has been induced due to overexpression of CD55.

  • Publication number: 20210199633
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for measuring miscibility in oil using back titration. The apparatus includes: a flocculation solution storage unit; a flow cell including a UV transmitting member; a dissolving agent storage unit; a UV irradiation unit; and a measurement unit, wherein: a flocculation solution is stored in the flocculation solution storage unit; the flocculation solution circulates between the flocculation solution storage unit and the flow cell; the measurement unit measures the UV transmittance of the flocculation solution while the dissolving agent in the dissolving agent storage unit is supplied to the flocculation solution storage unit; the miscibility in the oil is calculated from the amount of dissolving agent supplied and a change in the UV transmittance measured by the measurement unit; and the miscibility is calculated based on a time point when the slope of increase in the UV transmittance changes.

  • Publication number: 20110172621
Abstract: Disclosed is a cleanable and reusable body fluid-absorbing fabric pad to move moisture including sweat and urine away from the skin of a wearer, the body fluid-absorbing fabric pad including, a diffusive fabric layer coming into contact with the skin of the wearer to remove moisture from the skin, an absorbent non-woven layer coming into contact with the diffusive fabric layer, the absorbent non-woven layer comprising at least 5 wt % of a superabsorbent fiber to remove moisture transported from the diffusive fabric layer, and a waterproof film coming into contact with the absorbent non-woven layer and exhibiting waterproofing properties and breathability. The absorbent non-woven layer is formed by needle-punching or thermally bonding superabsorbent fibers, polyethylene/polypropylene bi-component fibers and rayon fibers, wherein the diffusive fabric layer, the absorbent non-woven layer and the waterproof film are stacked and sewed to form the body fluid-absorbing fabric pad.

  • Patent number: 6810250
Abstract: The invention provides a method of roaming services for global roaming subscribers in the third generation mobile telecommunication networks in which a visitor network GLR(Gateway Location Register) is connected to a home network GLR so that the home network GLR can download subscriber information from HLR(Home network Location Register) to the visitor network GLR. In this manner, the visitor network GLR is blocked from direct contact to the home network HLR in the roaming service about the terminal moved to other network and downloaded with the subscriber information stored in the home network HLR in which the terminal is registered via the GLR so that the subscriber information stored in the home network HLR can be prevented from being exposed by the visitor network GLR. The visitor network GLR is associated with the home network GLR only in contrast to conventional association with all HLR of the home network so that a signal track can be remarkably reduced.
