A method of requesting a wireless printing, includes: requesting a printer that exists in a wireless LAN to perform a print job; and communicating with the printer according to a standard of the wireless LAN in order to transmit data regarding the print job to the printer. The method provides wireless direct printing suitable for a wireless LAN environment.
