  • Publication number: 20080271077
Abstract: A data transmission system for minimizing the number of errors during Tx/Rx times of mobile service data under mobile environments, and a data processing method for the same are disclosed. The system additionally codes the mobile service data, and transmits the resultant coded mobile service data. As a result, the mobile service data has a strong resistance to noise and channel variation, and can quickly cope with the rapid channel variation.

  • Patent number: 7420591
Abstract: An optical detector is provided. The optical detector allows an auto-convergence control to be effectively made by cutting off external light incident to an optical sensor for use in the auto-convergence of a projection TV. The optical detector includes optical sensors and external light cut-off units. The optical sensors are positioned in an inside of the projection TV to receive test signals. The external light cut-off units are protruded to a direction to which the test signals are incident.

  • Publication number: 20080149488
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a solvent-soluble stamp for nano-imprint lithography is provided. According to the method, a stamp is formed on a master substrate made of an ultraviolet-transparent material, using a material which is soluble in a solvent, and then a metal stamp or another stamp for a nano-imprint lithography is manufactured using the solvent-soluble stamp. Next, the stamp for nano-imprint lithography can be achieved by melting the soluble stamp. Therefore, it is possible to reuse the master several times. Further, it is possible to solve a problem in which a mold cannot be separated from the stamp. Furthermore, a uniform and clean stamp with a nano size can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20080031595
Abstract: A receiver and receiver control method facilitate user access to recorded content, including access for viewing, editing, and deletion, by providing means for improved file recognition so that recording items can be accurately and efficiently confirmed via a main screen without playing back any of the recording items in full. The method uses a recording list including at least one window, at least one progress bar, and additional information such as a program title and enables the recording list to be constructed from a received stream.

  • Publication number: 20080028424
Abstract: Provided are a system and a method for diagnosing and editing a channel using received signal sensitivity. The method allows a user to edit a channel on a received signal sensitivity diagnosis screen of a digital TV, so that the user can edit a favorite channel while checking received signal sensitivity of a predetermined channel. Since a user can edit a channel while checking received signal sensitivity of each channel, channel diagnosis and channel editing can be performed accurately and efficiently.

  • Publication number: 20080016241
Abstract: An over-the-air transceiving method and a mobile receiver using the same minimize the time for downloading driver software configured as a plurality of download data blocks (DDBs) and achieves timely downloads of driver software despite failures in receiving one or more download data blocks. On the transmitter side, the method includes steps of transmitting first DDB data corresponding to the plurality of download data blocks, each download data block of the first DDB data having a first packet identifier value; and transmitting second DDB data corresponding to the plurality of download data blocks, each download data block of the second DDB data having a second packet identifier value, the transmission of the second DDB data exhibiting a temporal overlap with respect to the transmission of the first DDB data.

  • Publication number: 20070154166
Abstract: An apparatus and method for simultaneously providing a plurality of time shifting functions is disclosed. An apparatus for simultaneously providing a plurality of time shifting functions comprises a first memory for storing a first broadcast program for performing a first time-shifting function; a second memory for storing a second broadcast program for performing a second time-shifting function; and a controller for selecting and displaying at least one of the first and the second stored broadcast programs. Also, a method for simultaneously providing a plurality of time shifting functions comprises determining if a first time shifting function is used; storing a first broadcast program in a first memory for time shifting function if the first time shifting function is not used; determining if a second time shifting function is used; and storing a second broadcast program for time shifting function in the second memory if the second time shifting function is not used.
