    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for forming a silicon oxide nanopattern, in which the method can be used to easily form a nanodot or nanohole-type nanopattern, and a metal nanopattern formed by using the same can be properly applied to a next-generation magnetic recording medium for storage information, etc., a method for forming a metal nanopattern, and a magnetic recording medium for information storage using the same. The method for forming a silicon oxide nanopattern includes the steps of forming a block copolymer thin film including specific hard segments and soft segments containing a (meth)acrylate-based repeating unit on silicon oxide of a substrate; conducting orientation of the thin film; selectively removing the soft segments from the block copolymer thin film; and conducting reactive ion etching of silicon oxide using the block copolymer thin film from which the soft segments are removed, as a mask to form a silicon oxide nanodot or nanohole pattern.

    Abstract: A light guide plate and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The light guide plate is injection-molded from an aromatic polycarbonate resin having a weight average molecular weight of about 10,000 g/mol to about 15,000 g/mol and an alkali metal content of about 40 ppb to about 100 ppb. The light guide plate has a color coordinate y variation (?y) of about 0.0001 to about 0.0150 after being left at about 80° C. and about 90% RH for about 1,000 hours, and emits light having an about 85% to about 100% brightness of a light source. The light guide plate can exhibit excellent discoloration resistance under high temperature and high humidity conditions and can have small reduction in brightness.

The biometric authentication system of the present invention separates pre-registered biometric information of a user into a plurality of separated biometric information, disperses them to a plurality of databases and manages them. Accordingly, when a user authentication process is needed, the biometric authentication system performs an authentication by obtaining the separated biometric information that are managed by a plurality of databases and composing registered biometric information. The present invention reduces the risk of leakage of biometric information of a user due to hacking or theft since it allows biometric information to be separated, disperse and managed, which conventionally is store as a single file on a server, a database or a security token.
