    Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing road view data corresponding to an inputted location. The apparatus includes a manipulation unit to received user information containing a road view data request signal; a display unit to output image data containing road view data; a camera to capture an image in a specific photographing direction and output the captured image; a sensor unit to output sensing information containing a photographing direction of the camera; and a control unit to detect, at an inputted reference position, road view data corresponding to the photographing direction of the camera output from the sensor unit and output the detected road view data.
