  • Publication number: 20150300834
Abstract: Disclosed are a navigation apparatus having lane recognition function and a method for the same. The navigation apparatus may comprise an image acquisition part configured to acquire an image about lanes; and a control part configured to recognize a lane in which a vehicle on driving is located and to provide lane guidance information based on the recognized lane and a configured driving route. Thus, lane change guidance information can be provided in consideration of the number of lanes and distances between intersection points thereby enabling users to drive more stably and efficiently in complex areas.

  • Publication number: 20100134302
Abstract: Provided are a system and method for controlling the emotion of a car driver. A system for controlling the emotion of a car driver includes a detection unit, a control unit, and an emotion controlling unit. The detection unit detects emotion information including the voice, expression, gesture, heart rate, and temperature of the car driver. The control unit compares the detected emotion information with the prestored reference emotion information of the car driver to determine whether to control the emotion of the car driver and outputs a control signal for control of the emotion of the car driver according to the determination result. The emotion controlling unit controls the emotion of the car driver according to the control signal of the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20100138113
Abstract: Provided are a control system and method for protecting a child occupant of a vehicle. The control system includes a detecting unit, a monitoring unit, and a control unit. The detecting unit detects occupant data including weights of occupants and deployed lengths of seat belts. The monitoring unit determines whether the occupant is a child, whether the occupant has a seat belt on, and an occupant position based on the detected occupant data to generate occupant status data according to the determined results. The control unit controls a vehicle peripheral device according to the occupant status data when the occupant status data is received.

  • Patent number: 7584280
Abstract: A system and method for multi-modal context-sensitive applications in a home network are provided. The system includes an input processing agent classifying inputs from a predetermined input device based on at least one criterion selected from the group consisting of an input block, an input type, a priority, and ranking and then outputting the classified inputs; an input collaboration agent performing real-time analysis on each of the inputs fed by the input processing agent to obtain a pre-defined output action for an input type corresponding to each input based on a user's context and performing a probabilistic inference on the inputs fed by the input processing agent to obtain a possible output action based on the user's context; and an agent server obtaining an output resource, which is available in the home network and corresponds to the user's context, based on the output action obtained by the input collaboration agent.

  • Publication number: 20030105819
Abstract: A Web collaborative browsing system and method using an Internet relay chat (IRC) protocol. A plurality of users can view a Web page of the same address, or uniform resource locator (URL), at the same time through Web browsers run in a plurality of terminals. The users act as clients to an IRC server by means of collaborative browsing client programs installed in the Web browsers. On the basis of these component programs, the users can each construct a desired session or join a pre-constructed session to share the same Web page with other users in the same session. Each of the collaborative browsing client programs is executed in the corresponding Web browser to act to receive an event from the Web browser, create a message corresponding to the received event and send the created message, and to receive a message from the IRC server, analyze the received message and apply a command based on the analysis result to the Web browser.
