  • Publication number: 20060052574
Abstract: Disclosed is a flame-retardant polyester polymer dyeable with a cationic dye, a method of producing the same, a copolyester fiber using the same, and fiber products using the copolyester fiber. In the method, after a dimethyl isophthalate component containing metal sulfonate of Formula 2 separately reacts with ethylene glycol so that an extent of the ester interchange reaction is 95% or more to synthesize bis(hydroxyethyl terephthalate) containing metal sulfonate of Formula 3, bis(hydroxyethyl terephthalate) is fed so that a content of bis(hydroxyethyl terephthalate) is 0.01-5 mol % based on a diacid component in a polymer in a course of producing polyester, a phosphorus-based flame retardant of Formula 1 is fed so that a content of a phosphorus atom is 500-40000 ppm based on the polymer, and the mixture is copolymerized. The polyester polymer is dyeable with cationic dye while having excellent flame retardancy, and can be melt-spun like other polymers capable of being melt-spun.

  • Publication number: 20050176869
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat absorb-release plastic composition and a molded product thereof, more specifically to a heat absorb-release plastic resin composition, which can sense a temperature at a specific temperature, has flexural strength, and can absorb or release heat as a latent heat, and a molded product thereof. The heat absorb-release plastic resin composition absorbs heat at a desired temperature as a latent heat and thus temperature increase is small, and therefore, it can be used for automobile interior decoration material, housing for an electric home appliances, etc. even if it has comparatively low Heat deflection temperature.

  • Patent number: 6860317
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for producing a uranium foil with fine crystalline granules by forming the foil by the gravitational dropping of molten uranium or uranium alloy and rapidly cooling the foil by the contact with cooling rolls, and a foil produced thereby. In accordance with the present invention, a high-purity and high-quality uranium foil with an isotropic structure and fine crystalline granules is easily produced via a simple process without requiring hot rolling and heat treatment processes. The surface of the foil is prevented from oxidizing and residual stress is not imparted to the foil. The productivity and the economic efficiency of the foil are improved.

  • Patent number: 6785205
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for controlling eccentricity in a photo-record player and a control method thereof. A relative eccentric quantity is found from a TE signal (or, tracking driving voltage) induced per one revolution of disc ‘on track’and an eccentricity phase to be controlled is found from a periodicity of TE (or, tracking driving voltage) per one revolution of disc. A suitable compensating value for the relation between the found eccentricity quantity and phase is generated by taking FG representing a period of revolution as a reference. Then, the compensating value is used for an eccentricity control ‘on track’, or driving the tracking actuator on ‘seek’. Therefore, the present invention reduces a seek location error due to the eccentricity on ‘seek’, thereby enabling to increase a seek performance.

  • Publication number: 20040130981
Abstract: Device and method for detecting a non-writable region of an optical recording medium, wherein a read channel 1 signal and a read channel 2 signal are sliced at respective slice levels to produce header mask signals, and a header region which is a non-writable region is determined for the header mask signal taking the slice levels and written/unwritten regions ion the disk, whereby permitting stabilization of servos because servo error signals, such as a tracking error signal, and a focus error signal can be held exactly at a header region even if the servos are not stable, that prevents deterioration of a data quality in writing and reading, and permitting to shift an optical pickup to a desired position and accurate measurement of an amount of eccentricity because there is no influence of the header in a track jump and a disk eccentricity measurement.

  • Publication number: 20020050335
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with the fabrication process of low or high enrichment uranium and uranium alloy foil, and the fabrication apparatus therefor. Uranium (U) and uranium alloy [U—(A)Q—(B)X—(C)Y (Q: Al, Fe, Ni, Si, Cr, Zr element, X: Al, Fe, Ni, Si, Cr, Zr element, Y: Al, Fe, Ni, Si, Cr, Zr element, Q≠X≠Y, (A)≦1 wt %, (B)≦1 wt %, (C)≦1 wt %)] foil are directly obtained from a melt, not through a vacuum induction melting & casting, ingot cutting, hot-rolling and heat-treatment process, but through melt spinning or a twin-roll casting process. Major advantages have been obtained as follows: 1) a simplified process without the hot-rolling process and heat-treatment process, 2) an improvement in productivity and process economics in foil fabrication, and 3) a high purity and a high quality of the foil.
