Abstract: A clothes treating apparatus includes a housing, a tub provided inside the housing, and a drying device provided above the tub, the drying device comprising a hot air supply configured to supply heated air into the tub and a discharge device including a duct and configured to discharge air discharged from the tub to an outside of the housing. The drying device includes a base plate configured to cover lower portions of the hot air supply and the discharge device, and comprising a non-combustible material, and a side base coupled to the base plate to cover at least one side portion of the hot air supply and the discharge device, the side base comprising a material different from the material of the base plate. The base plate includes a base portion provided at a height lower than a lower end of the side base.
