  • Patent number: 12327564
Abstract: Techniques for performing voice-based user recognition are described. When a device receives audio data corresponding to a spoken user input, the device may generate spoken user input embedding data representing speech characteristics of the spoken user input. The device may also identify user embedding data representing speech characteristics of a user known to the device. A machine learning (ML) model may process the spoken user input embedding data to generate reduced spoken user input embedding data including a reduced number of dimensions, where the reduced number of dimensions are functions of the higher number of dimensions of the spoken user input embedding data.

  • Publication number: 20230102326
Abstract: Described are techniques for determining population structure from identity-by-descent (IBD) of individuals. The techniques may be used to predict that an individual belongs to zero, one or more of a number of communities identified within an IBD network. Additional data may be used to annotate the communities with birth location, surname, and ethnicity information. In turn, these data may be used to provide to an individual a prediction of membership to zero, one or more communities, accompanied by a summary of the information annotated to those communities.
