    Abstract: A ponytail extension device and methods of using the ponytail extension device are disclosed. The ponytail extension device includes a material layer having a center opening, and a plurality of hair strands attached to a band. The band is attached to the material layer to spiral out, around the center opening, from an interior point of attachment of the band to the material layer to an exterior point of attachment of the band to the material layer, so that the plurality of hair strands extend away from the material layer in concentrically arranged layers.
