  • Patent number: 9639510
Abstract: A method performed within a content editing device provides advanced editing functionality for use within application user interfaces having selectable content. The method provides automatic content insertion following a selection of an end location within the target document and selection of content for insertion at the selected end location. An editor moves content around within one or more documents by tagging the end location and selecting the content that is to be moved or copied to that end location. The method further enables efficient re-arrangement of multiple selected contents within a single document or across multiple application user interfaces by tagging each of the selected content with a sequence tag indicative of the relative content location within the re-arranged sequence of content. Once the content has been tagged, a selectable paste option automatically orders the various contents at the end location in correct sequence relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 9247010
Abstract: A personal networking/communication device (PND) enables real-time social and business interactions/networking within a real environment. A first PND associated with a first person/user in the real environment is within communication range of a second PND. The first PND receives (via electronic communication) and displays a social interaction information signature (SIS) of the second PND. The signature includes a physical mapping/location of the second PND relative to the first PND and provides some information about the second PND's user. Following a selection of the SIS on the first PND, the first PND electronically transmits one or more “request for interaction or information exchange” (RIIE) to the second PND. When the first PND receives a response to the RIIE from the second PND, the user of the first PND receives real-time unequivocal confirmation of whether the second person is interested in interacting/socializing with the user.

  • Publication number: 20150046799
Abstract: A content editing device and/or a program product provides advanced editing functionality for use within user applications having editable content on a user interface. The device provides automatic paste/insertion functionality following a selection of a destination/end location within the document and a subsequent selection of content for insertion at the selected end location. An editor moves content around within the document by tagging the end location and simply selection the content that is to be moved/copied to that end location. The device further enables efficient re-arrangement of multiple individual content blocks within a single document or across multiple documents by tagging each content with a sequence number indicative of the relative location of that content within the desired re-arranged sequence of content. Once the content has been tagged, a selectable option automatically orders the content in correct sequence relative to each other and/or to existing content in the resulting document.

  • Patent number: 8768773
Abstract: A method, a system and a computer program product for providing an individual with management/distribution control of the individual's personal information and transaction information. A transaction data management (TDM) utility executes on a data processing system and receives transaction reports from internal/external applications based on member permissions. Based on user configuration/request, the TDM utility records/displays the transaction information as a public announcement and/or a private record within a dynamic transaction/activity information profile. The TDM utility enables the individual to provide supplemental information describing transactions for which reports are received. In addition, the TDM utility enables the individual to provide a schedule of previous/future transactions. The TDM utility rates the individual according to the quality of transactions and the reliability of the transaction schedule . . .
