  • Patent number: 8235304
Abstract: The invention concerns a control device for at least one heating, air-conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration system with a memory for a temperature control program and a signal outlet. It is endeavoured to simplify the programming. For this purpose, the memory is arranged in an element (5), which comprises a communication interface (6) and which can be dismounted from the control device, the communication interface (6) being connectable to an external input device and the control device (1) comprising an electrical supply device (3) which can transmit electrical energy to the element (5).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 8, 2009
Date of Patent: August 7, 2012
    Assignee: Danfoss A/S
Inventors: Eva Kühne, Bjarne Frederiksen, Anders Oestergaard Clausen

  • Patent number: 6701795
Abstract: A method for testing a heating system with at least one basic unit, which controls activating elements of individual heating circuits, with the basic unit being connected with setting units. To simplify the testing of such heating systems, the elements available in the heating system are arranged hierarchically in steps, with the steps being tested in a predetermined order, one after the other.

  • Patent number: 6533186
Abstract: A method for controlling a floor heating system, in which a heating circuit in a room is supplied with a heat carrying fluid within a cycle for a supply period, with the supply period being chosen in dependence of the room temperature. To operate the floor heating more favorably with regard to the energy consumption, at least one additional parameter is registered next to the room temperature. The cycle duration and the duration of the supply period are chosen in dependence of the room temperature and the parameter.

  • Patent number: 6454179
Abstract: A heating system has several heating devices with valves, controlled in dependence of the temperature, in different rooms, with the heating devices being supplied by a supply device with an adjusting member which acts upon a supply temperature. A control device activates the adjusting member. A heat requirement in the rooms is detected and the supply temperature is adapted accordingly. To keep the energy consumption low, a counter detects the number of rooms in which a heat requirement exists. The supply temperature is increased by a value which corresponds to a product of the number of rooms and a predetermined first temperature difference when the number of rooms is higher than zero. When the number of rooms is equal to zero, the supply temperature is decreased by a predetermined second temperature difference.

  • Patent number: 6427923
Abstract: A heating system having, in at least one heatable room, at least one first heating device and a second heating device, with the second heating device being of a kind which differs from that of the first heating device, and with both heating devices being controlled. To improve the comfort feeling of a consumer, the two heating devices and their control circuits are coupled with each other, and a change of a parameter in one control circuit causes a corresponding change of a parameter in the other control circuit.

  • Publication number: 20020060251
Abstract: The invention concerns a heating system and a method for controlling a heating system. The heating system has several heating devices with valves, controlled in dependence of the temperature, in different rooms, the heating devices being supplied by a supply device (18) with an adjusting member (16), which acts upon a supply temperature, a control device (27) being provided, which activates the adjusting member (16). A heat requirement in the rooms (2 to 5) is detected, and the supply temperature is adapted accordingly.
