Abstract: The present invention relates to the strain of Holdemanella biformis, CECT 9752, its cellular components, metabolites, and secreted molecules, and to compositions comprising the aforementioned products, in addition to the use of said strain, but also of the genus Holdemanella, and to the species H. biformis for preventing alterations in energy homeostasis and glucose metabolism, including, inter alia, glucose intolerance, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome and diabetes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to dipeptidyl ketoamide m-methoxyphenyl derivatives and their use in the treatment of diseases and conditions associated with elevated calpain activity, such as heart injury caused by infarction, ischemia with or without reperfusion, neurodegenerative disorders, malaria, diabetic nephropathy, neurotoxicity induced by HIV virus, cancer, and fibrotic diseases.

Abstract: A circuit board fixer structure, for fixing a circuit board having at least one through hole, includes a carrier for carrying the circuit board, a pillar, and a stud. The pillar is mounted on the carrier and is formed with a first opening and a second opening corresponding to the first opening. The circuit board is fixed in place on the carrier by the pillar penetrating the through hole of the circuit board and the stud penetrating the first and second openings of the pillar to be coupled to the pillar. By the circuit board fixer structure, there is no need to use any tool to assemble and disassemble a circuit board in an electronic device, making the assembly and disassembly of the circuit board convenient to implement.

Abstract: A fastening mechanism for fastening a circuit board to an electronic device is proposed, including: a carrier used for carrying the circuit board; at least one fastening member having a first retaining portion that is connected to said carrier for coupling to at least one side of said circuit board; at least one guiding member disposed on said carrier that extends away from the direction of said fastening member; an active member disposed on said at least one guiding member that consists of a second retaining portion for coupling to an opposite side of said circuit board; and a sheathing member used for correspondingly coupling with said guiding member, thereby allowing said active member to move along said guiding member by means of the sheathing member to jointly fasten a variety of circuit boards of different sizes with said fastening member.
