Abstract: An inhaler housing (101, 201, 301, 401, 501) comprises a locating portion configured to receive an aerosolized medication canister (102, 302, 404, 502). The inhaler housing also comprises an outlet (101b, 301b, 501b) comprising a mouth-piece (101c, 303c, 401c, 501c). At least one flow directing element 101d, (301d), 501d is disposed within the housing. The at least one flow directing element is configured to direct a flow of aerosolized medication toward the outlet. A space enclosed by the housing is configured to reduce a velocity of said aerosolized medication prior to said aerosolized medication reaching the outlet for inhalation by a user. An inhaler (100, 200, 300, 400, 500) comprising a similar housing with at least one flow directing element and an aerosolized medication canister is also disclosed.
