  • Patent number: 11865558
Abstract: A nozzle for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, has at least one material nozzle having a hollow portion for the passage of material to be sprayed; a material outlet opening; and a disk element extending radially from the material nozzle and having at least one passage opening. The nozzle has at least one first baffle disk which is arranged on the disk element and has an inner and an outer circumference. The first baffle disk is arranged on the disk element directly, in particular without a sealing element arranged inbetween. The disadvantages that separate sealing elements have to be specially produced and may be lost or damaged, can thereby be avoided. The nozzle according to the disclosure and related nozzle sets, paint spray guns and methods for producing nozzles are functionally reliable, have only few individual parts and a compact design and are quiet.

  • Patent number: 11826771
Abstract: A set of nozzles for a spray gun, especially a compressed-air paint spray gun, comprises at least one nozzle module group with at least two different nozzle modules for mounting in or on the same base module of a spray gun. The nozzle modules have different medium flow rates under the same spray conditions, the spray jets generated by the nozzle modules having substantially the same spray jet section height and the same spray jet section width, the spray jet sections of the different nozzle modules in particular being congruent. A spray gun system, a method for embodying a nozzle module, a method for selecting a nozzle module from a set of nozzles for a paint job, a selection system, in particular a “slide gate system”, and a computer program product are also disclosed. The user can select the nozzle module which is ideal for the paint job and mode of operation in question.

  • Patent number: 11801521
Abstract: A main body for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, has at least one head region for attachment of a nozzle arrangement. The head region has at least one inner wall, one outer wall and one middle wall arranged therebetween. The walls are formed in encircling fashion and in one piece with the main body, with the front end of the middle wall set back in relation to the front end of the outer wall along an axis. This main body does not require any additional sealing element for sealing between the atomization air region and horn air region. The middle wall is well protected against damage even when a nozzle has been unscrewed, and the gun head can be of very compact design.

  • Publication number: 20220080448
Abstract: A sealing element seals a transition between a body of a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, and an attachment of a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, in particular a paint nozzle. The sealing element is configured so that it forms an axially acting sealing surface and a radially acting sealing surface with the body and/or the attachment when the attachment is arranged in body. An attachment, in particular a paint nozzle arrangement for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, and a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun can each have such a sealing element. Due to the axially acting sealing surface and the radially acting sealing surface, the sealing element provides a significantly improved sealing effect relative to sealing elements of the prior art.
