Abstract: Hoppers and similar loading systems have an integrated imaging system for still and/or video capture, display and/or networked transmission. The imaging system allows real time capture, display and/or transmission live paintball play action from the point of view of the player. Images can be transmitted to team mates in proximity with a corresponding imaging system and/or to off field personnel. Such image transmission from the perspective of the hopper held by the player permits coordination of on field activities among the team members or by an off field coach. In tournament play, the real time video transmission can be broadcast through the off field systems for display to a local audience or streamed to an internet audience. Recordable media within each hopper system permit the recorded images to be stored for later analysis.

Abstract: Thermoplastic body parts can be repaired by (a) heating a shaped staple to a temperature that is above the melt point of the thermoplastic component and (b) embedding the shaped staple across the crack seam and into the thermoplastic component material on either side of the crack seam. When cooled, the shaped staple will span the crack seam and be firmly embedded in the component material on either side thereof. The use of a plurality of such shaped staples along the length of the crack seam will permit the crack to be secured in a structurally significant manner and, with proper selection of the staple thickness and material, permit the crack to be filled, sanded and finished in a manner that does not pose a seam of continued structural weakness for the repaired component.

The pod hopper housing has an enclosed end and an open end in contact with the paintball feeder core egg housing and is arranged for gravity feed transfer of paintballs to the paintball gun firing chamber. The pod loader housing has an enclosed end and an open end in contact with the paintball feeder core egg housing and is arranged for power feed transfer of paintballs to the paintball gun firing chamber The pod hopper and pod loader housings are arranged for connections to the feeder core egg housings using (a) quick connector bayonets, and spring-loaded pin, and (b) permanently connected using glued or mechanical fasteners.
