  • Patent number: 10469175
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first transmitter/receiver module having a housing defining a longitudinal axis and with opposed first and second longitudinal sides extending along the longitudinal axis. The housing includes a first interlocking structure disposed along the first longitudinal side and having a first power interface, a second interlocking structure disposed along the second longitudinal side and having a second power interface, and first and second signal connectors positioned at respective first and second ends of the housing. The first transmitter/receiver module is configured to assume a mated condition in stacked coupled relation with one or more additional transmitter/receiver modules through cooperative engagement of at least one of the first and second interlocking structures of the first transmitter/receiver module with corresponding complementary interlocking structure arranged on a longitudinal side of a housing of one of the additional transmitter/receiver modules.

  • Patent number: 10329472
Abstract: Fluid additives suitable for use in a wellbore (e.g., a liquid comprising an aqueous miscible fluid, a liquid surfactant, or both) may be converted into a liquid-infiltrated porous silica that is a flowable bulk solid. The flowable bulk solid may then be handled and stored as a traditional solid wellbore additive. For example, the flowable bulk solid may be added to an aqueous fluid to produce a wellbore fluid that is then introduced into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation.

  • Publication number: 20150126309
Abstract: A hockey stick or other sports implement for a player. The hockey stick or other sports implement may comprise a taping guide for guiding application of tape on the hockey stick or sports implement. The taping guide may indicate where to start applying the tape and where to stop applying the tape. The taping guide may indicate a direction in which the tape is to be applied. The taping guide may indicate a pitch of the tape to be wrapped about the hockey stick or sports element. The taping guide may comprise a symbol, gradation or text relating to application of the tape. The hockey stick or sports implement may comprise a blade-taping guide and a handle-taping guide. The hockey stick or other sports implement may have certain stiffness or flexibility characteristics to better accommodate the player's needs.

  • Patent number: 5586632
Abstract: A pulse actuated interlock mechanism for a vehicle that couples and uncouples a drive member and a driven member. A clutch member is slidably movable to couple or uncouple the drive and driven members. A latchable piston assembly in combination with a return spring is utilized to move the clutch member. A force of short duration of a first magnitude is applied to latch the piston assembly which permits the return spring to move the clutch member to uncouple the drive and driven members. A force of a short duration of a second magnitude which is greater than the first force is applied to unlatch the piston assembly. A biasing member of the piston assembly moves the clutch member to couple the drive and driven members when the piston assembly is in the unlatched condition. The clutch member, return spring and piston assembly are installed in a modular housing.
