  • Patent number: 10937316
Abstract: Lighting fixture data hubs and systems and methods for use. An exemplary data hub comprises an annunciator configured to generate indications; a sensor configured to detect a zone comprising a plurality of parking spaces and to determine whether or not one or more vehicles and/or one or more pedestrians are present, the sensor further configured to emit one or more signals corresponding to said detection; a processor in communication with the annunciator and the sensor, the processor configured to receive the one or more signals from the sensor and operable to direct the annunciator to generate an indication in response to the signal; and a sensor unit housing having at least portions of the annunciator, the sensor, and the processor located therein, the sensor unit configured to attach to a device such that power supplied to the device is also used to supply power to the data hub.

  • Patent number: 10755569
Abstract: Lighting fixture data hubs and systems and methods for use. An example of a data hub may include an annunciator configured to generate first and second indications; a sensor configured to detect a zone including one or more parking spaces, pedestrians, or other activity areas in a vicinity of the data hub and to determine whether or not one or more vehicles, pedestrians, and/or activities occurring in the activity areas are present within the zone, the sensor further configured to emit signals corresponding to said detection; and a gateway in communication with an on-board processor and the annunciator, the on-board processor configured for EDGE computing and processing to receive and analyze the signals from the sensor, communicate said signals to the gateway, and operable to allow the gateway to direct the annunciator to generate the first indication or the second indication in response to the signals.

  • Publication number: 20160066003
Abstract: A method of scoring and arranging events related to entertainment content for a user in a viral tuning system is disclosed. The method comprising checking for a new event associated with media content; determining whether the new event is selected; applying a new score to the new event; associating the new event with one or more sub-events, each sub-event having a prior score and associated with the media content associated with the new event; adding the prior scores of the sub-events to the new score of the new event, resulting in a total score; adding an interest value to the total score, resulting in a new total score, the interest value being based on whether the new event is selected; and associating the new total score with the new event.

  • Publication number: 20130073977
Abstract: A method, user interface, and system are provided for controlling multiple universal digital terminal adapters (UDTAs). This involves providing a listing of UDTAs available for control and providing controls for one or more of the UDTAs in the listing of UDTAs. Commands can then be provided via the controls and performed to control one or more of the UDTAs available for control.
