Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for providing a three-dimensional virtual environment with teleconferencing audio and video feeds placed within the environment via three-dimensional virtual avatars, including indications of directional orientation or facing, and with mixing of spatial audio providing directionality and distance cues. By utilizing a three dimensional environment for display of video streams, video streams corresponding to or displayed on avatars that are farther from the viewer appear smaller within the three dimensional view, and thus can be easily downscaled or reduced in resolution or bit rate without adversely affecting the user experience.

Abstract: Systems and methods to perform reverse pattern recognition matching are provided in which identical and similar media files and related information may be identified using the media file itself as a starting point for a query of stored information. Unique identifiers may be created from an initiating media file using cryptographic and perceptual hash functions. The resulting hashes may be compared to data of other media files using hamming and other comparative methods. In an embodiment, the invention may be used to identify copyright ownership of non-attributed creative works. Searches for similar or identical media files may be performed using based on a media file, which may not be controlled by a rights holder of the media file.
