Abstract: A method for automatically monitoring and reporting campaign financial transactions. The method can detect, in real-time, whether non-compliant contribution attributes exist for a campaign financial transaction by identifying campaign-related rules associated with the campaign; and making a determination of whether one or more of the campaign-related rules are triggered. The method further can perform an operation associated with the one or more triggered rules, including terminating the campaign financial transaction without processing the campaign financial transaction; or processing, in real-time, an online payment based on the campaign financial transaction. The method further can create, in response to a payment confirmation for the online payment, a record associated with the campaign financial transaction in a transaction database.
