    Abstract: Some embodiments include hollow body club heads having reinforced club head faces. In one example, the club face comprises a reinforcement element such as a looped rib positioned on a rear surface of the club face to provide reinforcement. The club head defines a closed interior cavity, where the reinforcement is located within the closed interior cavity. The hollow body club head further comprises a rear including a plurality of walls to allow the club head to easily bend during a golf ball impact. The combination of the hollow body design and the reinforcement element reinforces the club head while permitting the club face to bend. Other embodiments of related club heads and methods are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of cavity back irons with inserts. In some embodiments, the insert has a plurality of voids. In some embodiments, the voids can have approximately the same size. In other embodiments, the voids can vary in size to create a variable density. The cavity back iron can include an undercut, a lip, or another rear structure. The insert can fill the back cavity and a majority of an undercut, lip, or maintaining feature. In some embodiments, the insert is made up of multiple pieces. In many embodiments, the insert can be press-fit into the cavity. Other embodiments of cavity back irons with inserts are described herein.

    Abstract: Some embodiments include club heads having reinforced club head faces. In one example, the club head comprises a variable face thickness profile with thickened and thinned regions. The face includes a thinned perimeter region positioned near a perimeter of the face, and a thickened central region positioned over a geometric center of the face. The club head further comprises a 360 undercut that extends along the entire perimeter of the face. The club head further comprises one or more reinforcement ribs to improve the frequency response during golf ball impacts. The combination of the thinned perimeter region, thickened central region, and 360 undercut reinforces the club head while permitting the face to bend. Other embodiments of related club heads and methods are also disclosed.
