  • Patent number: 11356980
Abstract: A server and a method for event management is provided. The server selects a first event from a plurality of events based on an event selection criteria. The server further transmits a notification, including event data, to a plurality of user devices. The server further receives a first set of responses from a first set of user devices. The server further transmits a request to each of a plurality of end-devices. The request is for procurement of a set of resources required to host the selected first event. The server further receives confirmation information from one or more of the plurality of end-devices based on the transmitted request, and further transmits logistic information related to the selected first event to the first set of user devices based on the received confirmation information.

  • Patent number: 10910153
Abstract: Thermally annealed superparamagnetic core shell nanoparticles of an iron-cobalt alloy core and a silicon dioxide shell having high magnetic saturation are provided. A magnetic core of high magnetic moment obtained by compression sintering the thermally annealed superparamagnetic core shell nanoparticles is also provided. The magnetic core has little core loss due to hysteresis or eddy current flow.

  • Patent number: 10427635
Abstract: A method and apparatus for adjusting a front passenger seat in a motor vehicle includes the steps of identifying a user identification apparatus proximate to the motor vehicle, and accessing a user profile associated with the user identification apparatus. The user profile includes a predetermined home position for the front passenger seat. If the front passenger seat is unoccupied, the position of the front passenger seat is adjusted to the predetermined home position.

  • Patent number: 9973922
Abstract: A computer system for establishing a user profile in an in-vehicle communications system based upon a mobile communication device in a motor vehicle includes a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The computer readable medium includes computer program code for retrieving user data from the mobile communication device, the user data including data associated with a particular user of the mobile communication device, parsing a user name from the user data by identifying possessive indicia in the user data and selecting the user name associated with the possessive indicia, transmitting the parsed user name for confirmation from the user, generating the user profile including the user name, storing the user profile in the non-transitory computer medium, and storing at least one user setting associated with the motor vehicle in the user profile.
