  • Publication number: 20230314285
Abstract: A sampling system and method are used for extracting a sample of dry product from a receptacle. An extraction tube having a perforated portion is disposed in a product storage volume of the receptacle. A pressurized air source is connected to a first end of the extraction tube. A sample collection device is located outside of the receptacle and serves to separate the sample from an airflow driven by the pressurized air source. An inlet of the sample collection device is connected to a second end of the extraction tube. A sample outlet is adapted to dispense the sample, and an air outlet is provided for venting pressurized air.

  • Publication number: 20220049726
Abstract: An apparatus having an accumulator fluidly coupled to a cylinder having a moveable rod and a pressure relief valve, the cylinder configured to produce an increase in resistance to retraction of the cylinder by re-routing fluid flow to the accumulator through the pressure relief valve after the rod has reached a defined retraction distance.

  • Publication number: 20210195886
Abstract: An agricultural sprayer includes a mobile frame, a boom, and a boom-positioning mechanism. The boom is spaced from the frame. The boom-positioning mechanism is configured to support the boom on the frame for selective movement between a raised boom position and a lowered boom position. The boom-positioning mechanism includes a positioning actuator, and a telescoping parallel linkage providing constant spacing between the boom and the frame in the raised boom position and lowered boom position. The positioning actuator is configured to place the boom in the raised boom configuration upon elongation and in the lowered boom position upon retraction. The agricultural sprayer may further include a controller for positioning the boom relative to an underlying surface.

  • Patent number: 10293874
Abstract: A working vehicle has a ballast weight system including a fulcrum mounted on the vehicle frame and a ballast weight configured to pivot between a mounting configuration with the ballast weight is resting on the ground and an operational configuration with the ballast weight is carried by the vehicle frame. The ballast weight has a mounting arm and a lower corner portion. The mounting arm has a recess configured to interact with the fulcrum, wherein in the mounting configuration, the recess faces sideways such that the work vehicle is driven towards the ballast weight until the fulcrum interfaces with the recess. A catch mechanism secures the ballast weight to the fulcrum. A lift mechanism attaches between the ballast weight and the vehicle frame such that the lift mechanism pushes on the corner portion to pivot the ballast weight about the fulcrum. A latch mechanism pins the ballast weight in the operational position.
