  • Publication number: 20220063561
Abstract: Communication with a key fob of a vehicle can be controlled based on a key fob jamming condition. One or more sensors can be configured to detect the key fob jamming condition. In response to the key fob jamming condition being detected, a jamming device can be activated to cause one or more jamming signals to be emitted. The one or more jamming signals can prevent the key fob from receiving and responding to other signals.

  • Publication number: 20220038850
Abstract: A communication apparatus according to the present disclosure is a communication apparatus included in a first vehicle, the communication apparatus including a communication interface and a controller. The communication interface communicates with a server. The controller detects a second vehicle located in a vicinity of the first vehicle. The controller generates positional information for the second vehicle based on a position of the first vehicle when the second vehicle is detected. The controller transmits the positional information for the second vehicle to the server via the communication interface, when the communication interface can communicate with the server.

  • Publication number: 20220035050
Abstract: A server according to the present disclosure includes a communication interface and a controller. The controller receives, from a vehicle via the communication interface, received-radio-wave information indicating a state of a radio wave wirelessly received by the vehicle, and determines a position of the vehicle based on the received-radio-wave information using association information associating one or more positions with states of respective radio waves received at the one or more positions.

  • Patent number: 11180114
Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to controlling a key fob. In one embodiment, a key fob, associated with a vehicle, includes an antenna, a control circuit including one or more processors and a memory communicably connected to the one or more processors, and a disable switch connected to the antenna and to the control circuit. The disable switch connects the antenna with the control circuit in a first state and disconnects the antenna from the control circuit in a second state.

  • Publication number: 20210170964
Abstract: A system includes an ignition switch, a power source, a power outlet, and an electronic control unit communicatively coupled to the ignition switch. The electronic control unit is configured to: determine that the ignition switch is set to an OFF state, determine whether a state of charge of an electronic device coupled to the power outlet is below a target state of charge, and in response to determining that the ignition switch is set to the OFF state and determining that the state of charge is below the target state of charge, provide power to the electronic device, from the power source and through the power outlet, while the ignition switch is set to the OFF state until the state of charge of the electronic device reaches the target state of charge.

  • Patent number: 11006859
Abstract: A method for disabling a step-counting function of a wearable fitness tracker includes detecting a vehicle start-up event of a vehicle with one or more vehicle sensors, and sending an in-vehicle confirmation signal from one or more vehicle communication modules to one or more wearable fitness trackers positioned within the vehicle in response to detecting the vehicle start-up event. The in-vehicle confirmation signal is configured to be received by the one or more wearable fitness trackers and cause the one or more wearable fitness trackers to automatically disable the step-counting function of the one or more wearable fitness trackers.

  • Publication number: 20210063184
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for an event navigation system. The event navigation system includes a sensor configured to monitor traffic flow within a first structure. The event navigation system includes a memory configured to store a map of the first structure. The event navigation system includes a processor coupled to the sensor and the memory. The processor is configured to obtain a current location of a user and a destination location for the user. The processor is configured to determine a route from the current location to the destination location based on the map of the first structure, the current location, the destination location and the traffic flow within the first structure. The processor is configured to provide the route to the user.
