  • Patent number: 11330897
Abstract: A paint brush having a handle with an integrated hanger that is pivotably movable between a retracted position for stowing the hanger within a groove of the handle, and an extended position for extending the hanger outwardly from the groove to hang the paint brush on an object. When stowed in the retracted position the hanger may be flush with an outer surface of the handle to enhance the ergonomic design. The hanger and groove may be configured to enable ease of deployment of the hanger from the retracted to extended position simply with a one-handed operation. The portion of the handle having the groove may be made of a flexible material which may better secure the hanger in the groove when stowed and/or may facilitate installation of the hanger. The handle may include a grip portion having the flexible material which is over-molded onto a rigid head portion.

  • Publication number: 20210229244
Abstract: A tool holder for firmly holding a wide range of sizes and shapes of tool handles includes a holder handle, a cage assembly, a clamp, a locking coupling, and a threaded actuator. The cage assembly includes a pair of axially spaced apart supports having axially aligned through openings sized for receiving tool handles of different sizes and shapes. The clamp is transversely movable between the supports in opposite directions for releasably clamping the tool handle against the supports. The locking coupling is interposed between the holder handle and the cage assembly for selectively adjusting the angular orientation of the cage assembly relative to the holder handle. The threaded actuator is operable to lock or unlock the locking coupling for permitting or restricting adjustment of the angular orientation of the cage assembly relative to the holder handle.

  • Patent number: 5363959
Abstract: A one piece brush keeper or container for protecting and maintaining the shape of the bristles of a brush before and after use includes a main panel which covers a front face of the bristles and bristle holding portion of a brush, lateral panels which wrap around sides of the bristles and bristle holding portion and overlap a back face of the brush, a lower end panel having a radially cornered and tapered locking tab receiving slit which folds around the brush tip and overlaps the lateral panels, and an upper end panel which folds over a top of the bristle holding portion and overlaps the lateral panels and the lower end panel and interlocks with the lower end panel by insertion of a narrow neck radially rounded and tapered locking tab at a distal end of the upper end panel into the locking tab receiving slit.
