    Abstract: A device that converts for use as both a child car seat and a stroller. A molded plastic seat is mounted on a tubular frame to receive a child. Front and rear wheel assemblies extend when the device is used as a stroller and retract when the device is used as a car seat. A handle extends for use as a stroller and retracts when in the car seat mode of use. The components can be locked in the extended position. The extension and retraction of the wheels and handle are effected pivotally and telescopically in different embodiments of the invention.
