    Abstract: Methods for thermochemically augmenting hydrocarbon inflow from a production formation increases the treatment efficacy in the oil and gas producing industry. A combustible oxidizing compound (COC) is pumped into the formation treatment zone and a combustion initiator is then introduced into the treatment zone. The combustion initiator is a solid or liquid compound on the base of a metal and/or metalloid hydride. In particular, salt hydrides such as alkaline metal boranes can be used.
