Abstract: A pier cap for a disposition atop a pier of support for a structure, such as a manufactured home generally comprises a rectangular body having a generally flat planar textured top and support webs including a peripheral, downward extending wall and a plurality of internal webs and an open interior in the body between the webs. The webs are designed to be supported by the upper surface of a concrete block having vertical cells. Coupling projections, connected to the body and rising above the top, couple with the webs of a stacked cap to prevent sliding. The pier caps can be arranged in stacked layers of multiple caps.

Abstract: A frame clamp (40) for connecting a ground anchor strap (30) to I-beam (75) of manufactured home (70) includes top jaw (42), bottom jaw (52) and fastening means (60) therebetween. Top jaw (42) has engaging portion (47) on distal end (46) including arcuate bearing surface (49) for bearing against I-beam top flange distal edge (81) responsive to tension in anchor strap (30) such that clamp (40) aligns with anchor strap (30) when anchor strap (30) is not perpendicular to longitudinal axis (79) of flange distal edge (81). Strap (30) attaches to bottom jaw (52) which clamps clamp (40) to I-beam flange (76).

Abstract: A foundation for a manufactured home having first and secondelongate support beams, each beam having a lateral flange, generally includes a ground pan for spreading out the load to a larger surface area to prevent sinking into the ground and for providing an anchor against horizontal movement, a cross brace assembly for supporting first beam and providing longitudinal bracing, and a lateral brace assembly connected between ground pan and second beam for providing lateral bracing. Cross bracing assembly includes front and back crossing braces of adjustable length, each having an upper end pivotally connected to a connector attached to first beam and each having a bottom end pivotally supported by the ground pan. A U-bolt assembly connects cross braces at their cross point, thereby preventing relative angular movement there between them.
