Abstract: A feeding device for a fastener inserting tool, particularly screw. The structure of the feeding device is a two-armed rocking lever mounted on a slide element. This mounts the sprocket wheel for rotation about the same pin as the rocking lever. The connection between the rocking lever and sprocket wheel is by means of a ratchet detent.

Abstract: In order to be able to remove a screw that has been installed, in a power-driven screwing head, it is proposed according to the present invention that the recessed portion of smaller diameter be divided into two zones that extend in the longitudinal direction of the sleeve, there being a recessed portion of greater diameter between said zones.

A screwdriver bit held in the head and consisting of a shank part and a blade part forms part of a coupling, which when a predetermined depth of screw penetration has been attained, automatically interrupts transmission of torque from the shank to the screw.

Abstract: A screw-driving device includes a casing having a slide member which in turn supports an indexing arrangement for indexing a flexible belt carrying a plurality of screws, the indexing arrangement serving to index a screw into a screwing station whenever the device is operated. The index arrangement includes sprocket discs the teeth of which engage the notched belt and movement of the indexing device to index the belt through one pitch is controlled by a coupling movable under the control of a pin slidable in an elongate aperture or recess in the casing of the device.A plurality of springs is employed to return the slide member to its inoperative condition at the end of each working cycle.
