Abstract: A sports vest for fitness training provides body-centered resistance for endurance, agility, and strength training. The vest has a V-shaped front neoprene panel, and a generally identical back neoprene panel. A plurality of auxiliary pockets holds weights along the legs of the each panel. A triangular central pocket hold weights just above the rounded V point on each panel. Interior partitions within the pockets prevent the weights from shifting. Straps secure the vest to a fitness trainee. The vest shape, arrangement of weights, and weight partitions generally maintains a trainee's center of gravity and balance in executing exercise movements.

Abstract: An exercise apparatus for pull ups has two L-shaped tubes, each having a first segment and a second segment. The L-shaped tubes are mounted in parallel planes to a mounting bracket, a stabilizer bar, and a pull up bar. The first segment of the L-shaped tube is a first outer tube containing a plurality of telescoping tubes within the outer tube. The apparatus may be lowered or raised by removing the pin from the pin-holes of the plurality of telescoping tubes, sliding at least one inner telescoping tube out from, or into, an outer telescoping tube, and then inserting the pin through the through-hole of the telescoping tubes to lock the adjusted height in place.

Abstract: A plyometric exercise device and associated method is disclosed. The device comprises a polyhedron with a plurality of side surfaces. At least two exercise platforms are mounted to a respective two side surfaces of the polyhedron, each of the side surfaces having a respective, opposing, parallel base surface of the polyhedron. The polyhedron is configured such that each of the side surfaces is at a different height above and parallel to a floor when its opposite base surface is set on the floor. A method of exercising using the device includes setting any one of the base surfaces on the floor and exercising on the exercise platform opposing the base surface at the corresponding height, and setting one of the other base surfaces on the floor and exercising on the exercise platform opposing the base surface on the opposing height.
