Abstract: A system and a method for conducting credit card transactions through a mobile device of a user. The mobile device comprises an image acquisition unit and a mobile application operated by the mobile device. The system enables acquiring an image of a client's credit card, using the image acquisition unit; analyzing data of the image; outputting details of the credit card from the analysis; verifying the output details, wherein the verification is further carried out through the mobile application; verifying authorization of inputted monetary transaction, wherein the mobile application enables verifying the authorization by communicating with the billing center, associated with at least one credit company associated with the credit card over at least one communication network, wherein the communication is carried out by the mobile application using the mobile device; and conducting monetary transactions using the verified credit card details.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for diagnosing silent and/or symptomatic cardiac diseases in human patients, based on extracting and analyzing hidden factors or a combination of hidden and known factors of ECG signals. The diagnosis method employs rest-ECG signals of a group of diagnosed patients, the group consisting of patients a-priori diagnosed as sick patients and of patients a-priori diagnosed as healthy patients by trusted procedures. Artificial neural networks are then iteratively trained to accurately classify the cardiac disease by processing the corresponding raw input signals of the diagnosed patients. The weights and biases data representing the trained neural networks are saved. Unknown, new patients are diagnosed as sick or healthy patients by processing their corresponding raw ECG signals by the trained neural networks.

Abstract: A method for protecting digital media from illegal copying by placing in predetermined locations of the digital media a set of Logical Digital Signatures (LDS), each of which causes retrieval of a different Sense Code (SC) and comprise a different signature, and utilizing an authentication module, which contains, or has access, to the signatures, for detecting the presence of the logical errors.

Abstract: A method for preventing the illegal copying of a copy protected content by a computerized system by installing a driver in the operating system of the computerized system for intercepting any attempt of the I/O routines of the operating system to access the device drivers of the Operating System, producing a CRC codes for data read from devices containing original copies, producing a CRC codes for data to be written to devices, and preventing any attempt to write such data whenever the CRC code produced match a CRC code produced for read data.

Abstract: A method and system for dynamic testing of loaded or unloaded electrical rotating electric motors, wherein a dynamic speed-time characteristic of the electric motor is determined during acceleration of the motor from standstill to steady-state speed or after the motor has reached steady-state speed, depending on the performance characteristic to be derived, and analyzed to derive a performance characteristic of the electric motor. Accurate measurement of the motor speed may be achieved by attaching to the shaft a digital rotary encoder which generates successive HIGH and LOW logic levels during respective successive time intervals. The shaft is rotated and the respective periods of each successive logic level are accumulated so as to allow derivation of the angular rotation or a function thereof of the shaft. Dynamic performance may be determined accurately as well as steady-state performance without slowing the electric motor's speed of rotation by use of a flywheel.

An advertiser may communicate with the network for creating and changing message content and scheduling data.

A one dimensional path having an attraction force which affects particles is embodied in N-dimensional space, such as two dimensional or three dimensional space. The attraction force is then applied to the particle in the direction of the path, where the magnitude of the force corresponds to the distance between the particle and the path. The attraction force may optionally be applied for only a percentage of the path length.
