  • Publication number: 20230190017
Abstract: A therapeutic pillow includes a soft central section which received the back of one's head and pair of bolster segments for restraining the head from turning to either side. Underlying the central section is a dense buttress. The lateral ends of the buttress project upwardly and comprise a stiffening outer portion of each bolster. Both the central section and the buttress have a generally ā€œUā€ shaped transverse cross section such that central section nests within the buttress when the composite pillow is assembled. A convex gradient neck extends forwardly from the central section and transitions to a convex cervical lordosis support at the central section. The buttress includes a central spherical cap depression. A portion of the central section occupies the depression to provide increased comfort for the occipital protuberance at the back of one's head.

  • Publication number: 20220276503
Abstract: An eyeglass frame having a pair of magnetically connected lens holding members are releasably connected at a bridge portion of each lens holding member. The bridge portions butt face to face against one another along a first common vertical plane when connected. Extending transversely from one bridge portion and through the common plane is a bolt having an irregular cross section. The bolt includes a magnet affixed to its end. The bolt is received in a socket formed in the other bridge portion. A mating magnet is affixed to the internal end of the socket.

  • Patent number: 8851743
Abstract: A trigger mechanism for remotely operating the chronograph functions of a watch. A lever mounted to the watchcase is swingable about a pivotal connection for rotating a cylindrical cam. A rotary cam follower is displaced by the cam. A striker member extending from the cam follower actuates a pushbutton for controlling the chronograph functions.

  • Patent number: 8770831
Abstract: A coupling pin connection for releasably attaching a watchband to a watchcase. The watchband includes an end connector that defines an aperture for interfitting engagement with a lug member projecting from the watchcase. The lug member defines a groove in communication with a recessed section formed in the watchcase. The end connector includes bore extending through shoulder portions on opposite sides of the aperture. A coupling pin member is selectively insertable through registered alignment of the bore and the groove. The coupling pin member further includes a spline. The spline is adapted for engagement within the recessed section when the coupling pin member is rotatable about its longitudinal axis to provide positive securement of the watchband to the watchcase.

  • Patent number: 8007165
Abstract: A releasable coupling assembly for securing a wristband to a watchcase. A pair of lug members extending from a top and a bottom sidewall of the watchcase provides respective alignment slots. The respective ends of a flexible wristband include a rigid connector member and guide pins registrable with the alignment slots. The sidewall has a notched surface adapted for engaging a complementary raised surface of the connector member to securely position the wristband with respect to the watchcase. A locking pin is selectively insertable through an aperture in one of said lug members and threadably connected to the other of said lug members to form an integral connection with the watchcase.
