Publication number: 20260022910Abstract: A confetti cannon is an air gun configured to launch a payload of confetti and/or streamers. A trigger of the air gun selectively provides compressed air from a compressed gas cylinder to an outlet of the air gun in response to input from a user. A rotary housing has a plurality of base fittings, each configured to receive an end fitting from a shot tube or canister. The shot tube end fitting locks into the base fitting of the rotary housing. When fired, compressed gas from the outlet of the air gun passes into a canister aligned with the outlet, forcing a payload out of an end of the canister opposite the end fitting. The rotary housing is rotatable relative to the outlet to align a second canister with the outlet of the air gun such that the air gun is ready to expel a payload from the second canister.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2025Publication date: January 22, 2026Inventors: Richard F. Turner, III, Eyck Pflaumer

Publication number: 20250305791Abstract: An airgun is configured to launch a variety of less lethal projectiles such that they are delivered on target with a predetermined amount of impact energy, regardless of range and projectile type. The airgun includes a range finder, an adjustable air mass system, a trigger system, and a controller. The range finder determines a distance to target, and the controller uses the distance to target to determine an energy level for the adjustable air mas system. The adjustable air mass system provides an air mass corresponding to the energy level to the projectile when prompted by the trigger system. The projectile is launched by the airgun with the provided air mass to deliver the projectile on target with a predetermined amount of energy.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2023Publication date: October 2, 2025Inventors: Eyck PFLAUMER, Richard TURNER, Matthias STRACK

Patent number: 12372337Abstract: A less-lethal projectile include a rear portion and a front portion. The rear portion can be a base member having a head, a waist, and a skirt configured to obturate a rifled barrel bore of an airgun. The front portion can be a hollow cylindrical cap sealingly engaged with the head such that the cap and the base member define an interior cavity in which a payload is received. The cap can include a plurality of fins and grooves configured to stabilize the projectile during flight toward a target and open without shattering the cap to release the payload from the cavity upon impact of the projectile with the target.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2025Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: Umarex GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Thomas Scheunert, Eyck Pflaumer, Richard Turner

Patent number: 11719510Abstract: With a light dot sight (100) that can be affixed in the region of the surface of a breech of a firearm. The sight has a partially transparent reflector element (110) which reflects the parallel light of a light source (120) mounted on the firearm, into the eye of the shooter to focus to a point on the retina of the shooter. Obstruction of a field of view of the shooter directed to a special event is avoided in that the undersurface (111) of the partially transparent reflector element (110) has a width which has dimensions for directly and robustly anchoring the reflector element (110) in the region of the surface of the breech by means of a fastener.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2021Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: Carl Walther GmbHInventors: Christoph Gröner, Eyck Pflaumer, Martin Wonisch

Patent number: 11454467Abstract: A firearm breech device (100) has a breech body (110) with a lower part with functional elements for interaction with an upper part of a handle part of the firearm. A firing pin (130) is linearly movable within a bore (120) of the breech body (110) with a leading end face (111) adjacent to the cartridge chamber (200) of a barrel of the firearm. The firing pin can be propelled by means of a pulse generator (140) which is also linearly movable within the bore (120) from a retracted basic position into an advanced firing position. In the advanced firing position, an ignition pin (138) of the firing pin (130) strikes an ignition element of a cartridge (300) to fire a shot.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2021Date of Patent: September 27, 2022Assignee: Carl Walther GmbHInventors: Martin Andreas Kling, Eyck Pflaumer, Martin Wonisch

Patent number: 11371791Abstract: An extractor of a firearm is mounted rotatably about a rotation point with an extractor claw in the region of an end of the extractor near the barrel of the firearm and a contact element in the region of an end of the extractor remote from the barrel. An extractor spring biases the extractor in an end position determined when the chamber is empty. Torque-free pulling of a cartridge case is made possible in that the extractor has a protrusion mounted in a pot of the breech. The protrusion's leading edge adjoins an undersurface of the protrusion. The protrusion is mounted on a bottom surface of the pot near the barrel. The protrusion leading edge is supported on a leading edge of the pot near the barrel. The pot leading edge forms the transition from the bottom surface to a boundary wall of the pot near the barrel. The leading edge forms a rotation axis of the extractor, which allows rotation of the extractor relative to the breech.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2021Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: Carl Walther GmbHInventors: Martin Andreas Kling, Eyck Pflaumer, Martin Wonisch

Patent number: 11287202Abstract: A magazine device (100) for a double-row arrangement of successive cartridges (200) be inserted into a barrel of a firearm. A magazine housing (110) has an opening (150) to be placed below the cartridge chamber when inserted into the firearm for successive delivery of each cartridge (200). Two of the four opposite walls (112, 114) of the magazine housing (110) in a transition region below the opening (150) form a feed section (160) for successively feeding each cartridge (200) into the opening (150). The feed section (160) formed in the transition stage by two opposite walls (112, 114) of the magazine housing (110) is of a curved form.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2021Date of Patent: March 29, 2022Assignee: Carl Walther GmbHInventors: Martin Werner, Eyck Pflaumer, Martin Wonisch
