The solids can include pigment particulates and silica particulates dispersed in the ink-jet ink, as well as solid humectant substantially dissolved in the ink-jet ink. The pigment particulates, silica particulates, and solid humectant substantially remain with a dried image that is printed using the ink-jet ink of the present invention.
