Abstract: Vehicle accident information is collected at the scene of an accident utilizing a portable communication device having a user interface and a digital camera. A user loads an application onto the user interface of the portable communication device, displaying instructions for collecting accident information and instructs the user to record and input vehicle accident information to the application through the portable communications device that may also include digital images. The user may then transmit the accident information to a database where it is stored, may be edited by the user and forwarded to third parties.
