Such captive portal access points are commonly found in hotels, and may be used for both freely provided public WiFi and for connections that require providing payment. For re-registration of the input-limited device with the captive portal access point, a server may send a notification to a mobile computing device associated with the input-limited device.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods, systems and storage media associated with a unified UI element query interface (“UEI”) configured to facilitate provisioning of UI element information are described. A view server may be configured to respond to queries made using the UEI to provide indications of UI elements that are being rendered by one or more rendering engines. The view server may also be configured to respond to queries about specific UI elements to provide properties for the UI elements. The UEI may provide a single point of interaction for an application that wishes to interact with UI elements rendered by different rendering engines. Abstract: Examples of when to perform a flash update to reset pixels of a display device are described. In some implementations, a pixel threshold may be determined based at least partly on a temperature associated with a display device. A counter may be modified based at least partly on a number of pixels changed by a plurality of updates sent within a predetermined period of time to the display device. A flash update of the display device may be performed based at least partly based on determining that the counter satisfies the pixel threshold.
