  • Patent number: 9161825
Abstract: A coupling assembly, particularly for dental implants, having at least one pin, which can be coupled rigidly to a bone portion, and a supporting element, which can be associated with a prosthesis. The pin has, at its end portion that lies opposite the one designed for connection to the bone portion, a protruding tab that can be accommodated by elastic forcing in a respective cavity formed in the supporting element so as to produce a stable coupling configuration between the pin and the supporting element. The tab is shaped like a substantially equatorial portion of a sphere with an outer lateral surface adapted to abut, with at least one part thereof, against the internal side wall of the cavity, to determine stable coupling configuration.

  • Patent number: 6241523
Abstract: A retainer for dental prostheses comprising a spherical male element, which is rigidly fixed to a body meant to be rigidly coupled to a corresponding implantation seat of the prosthesis, and a complementarily shaped female element, which is meant to be stably accommodated in a removable part of the prosthesis, further comprising a spherical hollow part which is complementary to the female element and is suitable to be applied to the spherical male element. The hollow part is suitable to be fixed to the male element in the correct position for coupling to the female element. The retainer further provides for a tool for fitting the hollow part and for a gauging tool which is meant to reduce the male element to size.

  • Patent number: 5520540
Abstract: Quick coupling device for a dental prostheses including: a substantially spherical male element, monolithically associable with a fixed part of the prosthesis for protruding from a gingival region; a connecting element having a hollow seat for coupling to the male element and externally provided with a spherical surface; a female element, shaped complementarily to the external spherical surface of the connecting element, correspondingly provided on a removable part of the prosthesis and coupleable to the connecting element.

  • Patent number: 5480304
Abstract: Device for providing quick couplings for dental prostheses including a substantially spherical male element which is meant to be associated with a removable part of the prosthesis and is suitable to couple to a female element which is shaped complementarily with respect to the male element and is correspondingly provided by a fixed part of the prosthesis. The male element extends from a stem which has a spherical head that is suitable to be coupled to a correspondingly spherical seat associated with the removable part of the prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 5221206
Abstract: Device for producing quick couplings for dental prostheses, of the type which includes at least one substantially spherical male element, which is intended to be monolithically integrated with a fixed part of the prosthesis, and a female element, whose inner shape is complementary to the shape of the male element, which is correspondingly provided on a removable part of said prosthesis, includes a pair of auxiliary bars, made of a calcinable plastic material, which are connectable one on top of the other, and which cooperate so as to define at least one compartment whose shape is complementary to the outside shape of a cap which defines the female element, the bars being arrangeable about the male element in order to obtain a model of a metallic piece of the removable part of the prosthesis to be produced by lost-wax casting.

  • Patent number: 5030094
Abstract: The coupling device comprises a substantially spherical male element, rigidly associated with a support member, in turn adapted to be rigidly associated with the fixed part of a dental prosthesis. The device further comprises a female element defined by a prefabricated cap having an outwardly open seat. The cap is adapted to be rigidly associated with the removable part of a dental prosthesis, and the spherical male element is engageable, in snap-together engagement relationship, with the outwardly open seat, for associating the removable part of the prosthesis with the fixed part thereof.
