    Abstract: A catamaran tiller having a grip is provided to permit tension to be applied to the tiller more easily. In one embodiment the grip extends laterally from a sleeve which fits over the tiller rod and is secured thereto at a desired location. Provision is made to have the grip rotatably mounted on the sleeve or for the sleeved to be secured with the grips in alternative positions. A circular grip is also disclosed.
