  • Publication number: 20070007661
Abstract: A radio frequency identification device (RFID) includes a non-conductive first substrate, an integrated circuit device mounted to the carrier substrate and having at least one conductive terminal and a patterned conductive coating applied to the non-conductive substrate and in contact with the at least one conductive terminal. The patterned conductive coating includes a polymeric matrix and a conductive particulate filler, the polymeric matrix being capable of undergoing at least 2% deformation elastically and without significant change in the conductive properties of the patterned conductive coating serving as an antenna. The RFID can be fabricated by affixing an IC chip to a surface of a substrate having a patterned conductive coating and applying a bridging coating to connect terminals of the IC chip to the antenna.

  • Patent number: 7144205
Abstract: An insert retention screw has a head with a radius that is a sufficient size to fit within a mounting hole of a cutting insert and seat within a seating plane within the mounting hole that is generally perpendicular to the axis of the insert when the screw is at an angle in a range of about 0–15 degrees. The retention screw is provided for holding a cutting insert in the pocket of a tool body. The pocket is partially defined by a floor and a seating surface. A threaded hole is at an angle that is taken with reference to the pocket floor. The insert has a mounting hole passing therethrough. The retention screw passes through the mounting hole and threads into the threaded hole so as to draw the insert against the seating surface.

  • Patent number: 6953673
Abstract: The present invention relates to the histamine H2 receptor (H2R), a member of the G-protein-coupled heptahelical receptor family. This novel H2 receptor codes for a novel carboxy-terminal tail which imparts important regulatory functions to the receptor, e.g., in down-regulation, signal transduction, and in coupling the activity of the H2R to downstream effector molecules, such as G-protein-coupled receptor kinases (GRK). The present invention relates to all facets of this new form of the H2R receptor, including nucleic acids that encode it, H2R polypeptides, binding-partners thereto, as well as its use in research, diagnosis, drug discovery, validation, and targeting, therapy, and clinical medicine.

The cutting insert is adapted for use in a cutting tool comprising a tool body having a pocket partially defined by a floor that is parallel to a seating plane. The insert can have a shape complimentary to a tool body so as to cooperate with the tool body to form a continuous flute. According to one embodiment of the invention, the insert has a flank edge inboard with respect to the tool body. An insert according to another embodiment of the invention has a rake face with a positive cutting geometry.
