  • Patent number: 4524903
Abstract: A two-way mailer unit which is formed from a single sheet of paperlike material. The sheet has first name and address and second name and address applied thereto. The sheet has a first severance line and a second severance line, separated by a first fold line. The sheet is folded, and portions thereof are attached together to form an envelope pocket section with a flap portion extending therefrom. A message section is provided between the severance lines. The folded sheet in such form is mailable to a recipient whose name and address appears as the first name and address. The sheet is severable by the recipient along the severance lines so that the envelope pocket section with the flap portion is separated from the message section. The recipient may then note the message section. The recipient places a message and/or payment piece within the envelope section.

  • Patent number: 3941308
Abstract: Business forms structure which comprises continuous envelopes with insert material. The envelopes are produced in a series and separated by score lines or the like. Within each envelope is at least one element of insert material. Image transfer material is included in the business forms structure so image transfer can occur from the exterior surface of the envelope to the insert material within the envelope. Each element of insert material is attached to an element of insert material in the adjoining envelopes and is retained in a desired position within its respective envelope until the envelope is separated from the series thereof. Thus, printing, typing, and the like can be performed upon the exterior surface of the envelope and, while the insert material is retained in proper location within the envelope, at least a portion of the printed or typed information is applied to the insert material in the desired location thereupon, prior to separation of the envelope from the series thereof.
