  • Publication number: 20210355907
Abstract: This invention is the structure of electricity generation by ocean currents and the method of placing with three-way connection device, turbo-generator device, suspension device, and anchor device. The turbo-generator device, suspension device and anchor device are respectively connected to the three-way connection device by the cable. Also, to fix the structure of electricity generation could be only required just one anchor device, which would significantly lower the cost of construction. Throughout the method of placing, the cantilever mechanical device is as a traction for the suspension device remain on the surface of water by the cable, after which, the three-way connection device, turbo-generator device and the suspension device will be sink to the bottom of the water with the anchor device after releasing the traction with the suspension device. Therefore, the structure of electricity generation by ocean currents and the method of placing are straightforward and easy.

  • Patent number: 9169822
Abstract: The invention provides a deep ocean current power plant. In one embodiment, the deep ocean current power plant comprises at least one relay platform, a plurality of platform anchorage cables, a plurality of turbine generators, and power conversion equipment. The at least one relay platform floats and is submerged in a deep ocean current. The platform anchorage cables anchor the relay platform to a seabed. The turbine generators are anchored to the relay platform, and convert kinetic energy of the deep ocean current into electrical energy. The power conversion equipment is installed on the relay platform, gathers the electrical energy generated by the turbine generators to generate an electrical power, and modulates the electrical power to be transmitted to a land power station.

  • Patent number: 6871844
Abstract: A humidifier for fuel cells includes a housing with a heat-exchange plate formed therein, the plate defining first and second gas passages having gas inlets and outlets, respectively; a plurality of apertures formed on the plate; and a plurality of reservoirs fixed under the apertures and filled with a water absorbable and permeable stuffing material for trapping and storing water. The water permeable stuffing material may be disposed in the first gas passage. Cool, dry oxygen/air is channeled to the first gas passage and conveyed to an oxygen/air inlet of the fuel cell, and high-temperature, high-moisture exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell is introduced to the second gas passage, such that water and heat of the exhaust gas in the second gas passage are recycled by the heat-exchange plate and conveyed to the first gas passage, thereby achieving the humidification effect and improving electricity-generating efficiency of the fuel cell.
