  • Publication number: 20140122014
Abstract: A method for detecting at least one unevenness of the road surface includes reading in a plurality of records that each have at least one geographic position and one information item allocated to this geographic position about a detected local unevenness of the road surface. The method further includes detecting the unevenness of the road surface when information, allocated to an identical geographic position, from a number of records represents in each case a locally detected unevenness of the road surface.

  • Publication number: 20140083166
Abstract: The apparatus has a chemical energy reservoir that releases thermal energy upon contact with moisture. The apparatus furthermore has a converter that is embodied to convert the thermal energy into electrical energy; and a circuit that is embodied to generate, operated by the electrical energy, an electrical signal for reporting the event.

  • Publication number: 20140077816
Abstract: A sensor device for accommodation in a galvanic cell, having a sensor for detecting a predetermined measured quantity of the galvanic cell. The sensor device includes a sensor housing for receiving the sensor, the sensor being disposed in a recess in the sensor housing, and a measured-quantity transfer medium that covers at least the recess in the sensor housing in fluid-tight fashion and is formed to couple the sensor to an external environment of the sensor device for the transfer of the measured quantity.

  • Publication number: 20140038004
Abstract: A sensor device is provided for determining a pressure of a medium located inside a housing of an electrochemical energy storage. The sensor device includes a detection unit which may be or is inductively coupled to an electrically conductive layer, which is deflectable by the pressure of the medium to be determined. The detection unit is designed to inductively detect a distance, which is dependent on the pressure of the medium to be determined, between the layer and the detection unit, to determine the pressure of the medium from the distance.

  • Publication number: 20130323554
Abstract: A battery management system is configured for use with a battery having at least one battery cell with a cell housing and an electrode winding arranged inside the cell housing. The battery management system includes a battery state detection mechanism. The electrode winding is covered at least partially by a pressure-sensitive film sensor. The battery state detection mechanism is configured to read in a measured value, provided by the pressure-sensitive film sensor, or a variable derived from this measured value. The battery state detection mechanism uses the measured value/variable as an evaluation parameter to determine the battery state. The battery state detection mechanism is configured to determine a swelling force from swelling of the electrode winding due to the state of charge thereof by using the measured value/variable. The swelling force is used to further determine the state of charge or state of health of the battery cell.

  • Publication number: 20120152022
Abstract: An ultrasound-based measuring device includes a measurement body, at least one ultrasonic transmitter for coupling ultrasonic measurement signals into the measurement body, and at least one ultrasonic receiver for detecting the ultrasonic measurement signals reflected at an end face of the measurement body. The at least one ultrasonic transmitter emits both a longitudinal and a transverse measurement signal. The influence of a physical disturbance variable on the measurement section traversed by the measurement signals during a determination of a measurement pressure prevailing at the end face and/or of a measurement temperature prevailing at the end face can be taken into account on the basis of the propagation times and a difference between the propagation times of the longitudinal and transverse measurement signals reflected at the end face.
