  • Patent number: 10069336
Abstract: The invention relates to an inductive charging device having at least one inductive charging coil wound about a coil axis, and an electric or dielectric antenna, which is arranged at a location that is shifted parallel to the coil axis in relation to a location of a region of the charging coil, a location within the at least one charging coil, or a location between the charging coils. The electric vehicle and the charging station each have such an inductive charging device. With the method, one or two such inductive charging devices are used, wherein by means of the inductive charging coils, energy is transmitted, and by means of the antennas, communications data are transmitted.

  • Patent number: 9246547
Abstract: A method transmits data via an electric conductor of a current network. At least one first node and at least one second node are coupled to the electric conductor by a respective impedance-transparent coupling device. The method involves transmitting a carrier signal by the first node via the electric conductor, rectifying the transmitted carrier signal at the second node in order to supply energy to the second node, and modulating the transmitted carrier signal by the second node using a load modulation in order to transmit response data to the first node. The method is suitable in particular for low-maintenance and inexpensive sensor applications in current networks. An arrangement is used to transmit data via the electric conductor of a current network.

  • Publication number: 20130194078
Abstract: An antenna device in a reading device has a main radiation direction and receives a signal transmitted by a transponder. An electronic assembly calculates a direction from the reading device to the transponder using the received signal. An orientation detector in the reading device, for example an electronic compass, detects an absolute orientation of the reading device with respect to an exterior region. While the main radiation direction of the antenna is pivoted in the region and the signal strength is measured, the orientation in the region is simultaneously detected. A correlation of the orientation that is detected at a point in time to the signal strength that is measured at the same point in time allows determination of the direction to the transponder because it can be assumed that the signal has a maximum when the main radiation direction points in the direction of the transponder.
