  • Publication number: 20100220557
Abstract: The invention relates to a timepiece movement that includes at least one bridge (1) mounted on a bottom plate using at least one securing device (2, 4, 6) to carry at least one member of said movement. According to the invention, said at least one bridge or the bottom plate is made from a plate of micromachinable material and includes at least one bearing formed in a single-piece to carry at least one member of said movement.

  • Patent number: 7223009
Abstract: The backlighting device (1) enables an information display element of a portable object such as a wristwatch to be illuminated from the back. This device comprises a light guide plate (7) having a front face and a rear face, a light reflector (6) located on the rear face of the light guide plate, a light diffuser film (9) and a rectifier film (11) located on the front face of the light guide plate and a source of visible light (2). This light source, such as a light emitting diode (2), feeds light beams to the edge of the light guide plate, which spread in the light guide plate between its two faces. A layer, such as a diffuser film, has a zone (10?) with opacity decreasing from a limit (25) located close to the boundary area of the light guide plate, which receives the light beams of the light source, in order to attenuate the intensity of the light crossing said zone.

This zone with decreasing opacity is, for example, a shading white or black dye disposed on the diffuser film.

  • Patent number: 7052798
Abstract: The present invention concerns a device for mounting a source of electric energy (100), preferably a button-type battery, for a portable electronic apparatus including a housing (3, 44), closed by a cover (14, 49), for said energy source. The housing includes, in proximity to its periphery, tongues (5, 32) that can be deformed for holding the energy source axially in the housing. Further, the cover includes a wall (15, 50) projecting into the housing and arranged between the periphery of the housing and the tongues retaining the energy source. The wall of the cover thus ensures that the tongues are held properly against the energy source when the latter is arranged in the housing, in particular in the event of a violent shock.

  • Patent number: 7019702
Abstract: The portable object (1) comprises a case (2, 3) containing at least one electronic circuit (11), a wristband (4, 5) attached to the case, and electrical connection means (8) for electrically connecting at least one conductive track (6, 7) of the wristband to at least one contact terminal of the electronic circuit. The electrical connection means comprise at least one electrical contact flange (8) fixed through a lateral wall (15) of the case. A first portion (8) of the flange is electrically connected to the electronic circuit (11) and a second portion of the flange being electrically connected to the conductive track of the wristband. The lateral wall (15) comprises a cavity between first and second portions of the lateral wall. An opening through which the flange passes is formed in each lateral wall portion.
